Hey There,
My name Jeff Rebner, I was born and raised in the Midwest, mostly around Cleveland Ohio. My happy childhood memories consist of watching cartoons or spending my Saturday's scrounging for matinee monster movies on the boob tube. I was always playing with my Star Wars figures in my room while my sister and brother who were outside bringing home frogs and snakes to the house but most of all, I loved drawing adventures of dinosaurs spaceships and superheroes.
My first introduction to the wonderful world of comic book collecting came in the summer of 1978 with Micronauts #8 that I bought from a 711 store and I never turned back. I grew up with comics and kept on drawing wondering if I would ever get the chance to do it for real one day.
That chance came in the spring of 94 when I got a call from Wildstorm Studios to work for them in San Diego. This was a chance of a lifetime and finally I was heading out to California where I have lived ever since. I was with legends during that time and was living out my dream for a few years but eventually I had to move on and venture to Los Angeles to see what else I could do. I stumbled head first into animated television working first on a children's show Extreme Ghostbusters and then moving on for a long run on such prime time shows as King of the Hill and now American Dad. Even though I was proud to be working in television, I always went back to my first love of drawing monsters and creatures and was able to do that as freelance through White Wolf Studios. But my biggest break came when I decided to tackle creature design for monster movies... I'm in Hollywood after all. Why not give it a shot? Over the last few years I have met and worked with some giants in the business and had the chance to be on several projects that I couldn't have been more happy to be on.
My website maps this little journey of mine and even though I have made a few of my dreams come true, I hope the best is yet still to come.
